MUSKOGEELocated in Green Country, Muskogee is famous for its cultural activities and recreational opportunities.  Steeped in American Indian culture, Muskogee offers two museums dedicated to preserving the heritage of the native people.  The Muskogee Little Theater is a special treat with four plays a year by volunteers from the community.  The area features 32 parks, 13 tennis courts, 6 swimming facilities, 3 theaters, and one public library.  Five major reservoirs, including Fort Gibson Lake, Eufaula Lake, Tenkiller Lake, and Webber’s Falls Lake, provide over 140,000 surface acres of water for canoeing, scuba diving, fishing or swimming..
