Muskogee enjoys four distinct seasons and all the beauty that comes with them. We’re famous for our Azalea Festival in the spring with the dazzling display of color at Honor Heights Park. Summer brings sunshine and hot day and autumn brings dazzling fall color. Wintery snow greets us through the cold months. Muskogee gets approximately 42 inches of rain per year (the national average is 37); snowfall is approximately 7 inches. The number of days with any measurable precipitation is around 87, which means on average there are 222 sunny days per year. The high temperature in July is typically 94; the low in January is 27.
