FRIDAY
Upon arrival, check into the Graham Carroll Bed & Breakfast. A historic home in the Founder’s Place Historic section of town, the accommodations are sure to provide both a relaxing and cozy atmosphere.
Enjoy your first night on the town by taking in a relaxing dinner with drinks at Gino’s Italian Ristorante. The food is superb, homemade Italian and they do have a fully stocked bar making available everything from a glass of wine to a mixed drink. Don’t forget to try dessert, it is the best!
After dinner, take in a play at Muskogee Little Theater, a live show at the Roxy, a movie at one of our two cinemas, or head on back to the Graham Carroll for some relaxation.
SATURDAY
Saturday morning get up early and head out to the Farmer’s Market at Okie Square. Check out the homemade Breakfast Burritos for a hearty breakfast and then look at all the fresh produce, wine, baked goods and flowers available from the area. Our Farmer’s Market is limited to Oklahoma Products only, so enjoy a sampling of the best Oklahoma has to offer.
After some outdoor shopping fun, drive over to Arrowhead Mall and enjoy some indoor shopping. Don’t miss The Daily Grind coffee shop, Candy Craze, or Viva’s a unique store that also carries Okie from Muskogee souvenirs.
For a great lunch, Arrowhead Mall is the place. Experience the unique dining of all the selections offered from the Mall food court to sit-down restaurants.. A great place for couples or families, the Flaire offers a unique twist on traditional food. Check out their Black and Bleu burger or enjoy their wonderful Salads.
After lunch, it’s time for a little more R&R. Studio III Day Spa offers a wide range of services from massage, to manicures and pedicures. Go be pampered and enjoy the afternoon in style.
For dinner, sample the cuisine at Miss Addie’s. Miss Addie’s offers gourmet cooked foods in a very hospitable, quiet atmosphere. Miss Addie’s menu provides a quality dining experience that allows you to discuss your day and sit back and take your time with your meal. A full bar and wine list are available.
SUNDAY
For a great breakfast on Sunday, visit IHOP in Muskogee for one of their specialties like Stuffed French Toast.
After breakfast, take a stroll through Honor Heights park. Home to the Azalea Festival in April and the Garden of Lights in December, this park is a 150 acre gem tucked into one of the oldest neighborhoods in Muskogee. Walk along the stream, climb up to the waterfall, or spend your time in the arboretum.
After walking through the park, drive down HWY 69 and visit the Amish Bakery and Fudge Shop. This unique store features homemade fudge, preserves, pickles and Amish delicacies. As you explore this treasure trove of unique gifts, you can sit down for a delicious lunch in the tearoom and get some candy and snacks to enjoy on the ride home.
