MUSKOGEEMuskogee is one of the recreational centers of the Southwest with lakes, woodlands and many natural attractions nearby.  The area features 32 parks, 13 tennis courts, 6 swimming facilities, 3 theaters, and an outdoor skate park.  Five major reservoirs, including Fort Gibson Lake, Eufaula Lake, Tenkiller Lake, and Webber’s Falls Lake, provide over 140,000 surface acres of water for canoeing, scuba diving, fishing or swimming.

 

Outlaw Motor Speedway

Just a few minutes south of Muskogee on Highway 69 is Outlaw Motor Speedway. Excitement is high and speed is the name of the game as stock cars zip around the ½ mile dirt track. Cheer for your favorite car from the stands, or see pit crews in action up close in the pits. A night of action and thrills is in store when you go to the races – where speeding is legal!

Love-Hatbox Sports Complex

The Love-Hatbox Sports Complex is a 60-acre site that was formerly an historic airport. The newly expanded and developed complex is home to 10 lighted baseball fields, 8 lighted softball fields, 2 lighted football fields, 13 soccer fields, an outdoor skate park, batters box and a 3.1-mile multi-purpose activity trail. Numerous sports leagues and tournaments take place at the complex for both adults and children including softball, baseball, soccer, football and more. Individuals can use the facilities as well, and even host birthday parties and other events at the Batters Box, located in a historic airplane hanger.
